Job summary

Southeast Medical Group (SEMG) seeks a Board-Certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician in Georgia. The role focuses on comprehensive, patient-centered primary care with long-term patient relationships. On-site labs, advanced EMR, and e-prescribing support are provided.

Visa sponsorships available and a retention bonus with base salary plus uncapped potential. Clinic hours roughly 7:30–5, no obstetrics, and a focus on preventive care and care coordination.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required with Georgia license in good standing.
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Current Georgia Medical License required.
• DEA license required.
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Caring, attentive nature.
• Understanding and support of a managed care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and health plans.

Responsibilities

• Treat a wide range of medical conditions and develop long-term, personal relationships with patients.
• Provide individualized healthcare programs based on patient history.
• Offer continuous support and health management advice.
• Laboratory services on-site; utilize state-of-the-art EMR and electronic prescribing.

PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with their patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice.

• No Obstetrics
• Clinic Hours are 7:30-5
• After hours call service
• patients per day (pending complexity)
• Laboratory services on-site
• State-of-the-art technology with integrated EMR and electronic prescribing
• No admitting; No nights

Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) required; current State of Georgia License in good standing.
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required.
• Current Georgia Medical License required.
• Valid DEA required.
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Caring, attentive nature.
• Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans.
