Job summary

Southeast Medical Group (SEMG) seeks qualified physicians to join its growing primary care practice in Georgia. You will provide patient-centered care, develop long-term relationships, and deliver personalized health programs using integrated EMR and prescribing tools.

Excellent compensation includes base salary with uncapped bonus, retention bonus, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME stipend, and a matching 401K. Clinic hours are 7:30–5; no obstetrics and no nights.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required; Georgia license in good standing.
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required.
• Current Georgia Medical License required.
• Valid DEA required.
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Caring, attentive nature.
• Support of a managed care environment.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and health plans.

Responsibilities

• PCPs treat a wide range of medical conditions and develop long-term patient relationships.
• Produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient data and provide ongoing health management guidance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with their patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice.

• No Obstetrics
• Clinic Hours are 7:30-5
• After hours call service
• patients per day (pending complexity)
• Laboratory services on-site
• State-of-the-art technology with integrated EMR and electronic prescribing
• No admitting; No nights

Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) required; current State of Georgia License in good standing.
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required.
• Current Georgia Medical License required.
• Valid DEA required.
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Caring, attentive nature.
• Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans.
