Job summary

Medrina, LLC is looking to add Internal Medicine physicians to our Chicago, IL market. The role focuses on SNF patient care, full medical management and primary care, with emphasis on accurate EMR documentation.

This is a 1099 contractor position with weekday hours and potential part-time opportunities. Ideal candidates hold an Illinois license, board eligibility/certification in Internal Medicine, and a current DEA license, with experience in geriatric populations and strong clinical

'Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care toSNFpatients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Responsible for full medical management and primary care
• Ensureaccurateandtimelydocumentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Illinoislicense
• Board eligible/certifiedin Internal Medicine
• Active DEA license

Preferred Experience

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
• Inpatient hospitalist

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.'
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds.'
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.'
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.'
• Mustcomply withfacility vaccination requirements.
