Job summary

Medrina in Illinois is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our Deerfield market on a part-time 1099 basis. You will provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, manage primary care duties, and ensure precise EMR documentation.

The role requires an active IL license, board certification in Internal Medicine, and an active DEA license, with at least 1 year of IM experience and geriatric patient care experience. Weekend work is not required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Illinois medical license.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum 1 year of Internal Medicine experience.
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patients.
• Strong clinical decision making and time management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Responsible for full medical management and primary care
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.'
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.'
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.'
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.'
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
