Job summary

The UNT System College of Pharmacy and Health Professions at UNT Health Fort Worth invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor (open rank) with clinical expertise in internal medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to the PharmD program through teaching, clinical practice, scholarship, and service.

The faculty member will maintain an internal medicine clinical practice, participate in curriculum development and assessment, and mentor PharmD students.

Qualifications

• PharmD from ACPE-accredited program and eligible to practice in Texas.
• Completed ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or minimum five years of acute care clinical experience.
• Ability to conduct research and engage in scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PharmD curriculum for Professional Years 1–4 as it relates to pharmacotherapy and pharmacy practice.
• Contribute to scholarly activity and clinical practice in internal medicine.
• Engage in curriculum development, assessment, and mentorship of PharmD students.
• Provide interprofessional patient care and service to the department and college.
