Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Internal Medicine team. You will greet patients, assist with registration, schedule appointments, measure vital signs, and collect health history while supporting physicians during exams and minor procedures.

Responsibilities include on-site lab testing (EKG, glucose), updating charting, processing prescriptions, and keeping exam rooms clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or related coursework.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital signs, and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and dressings.
• Assist with immunizations or injections when certified.
• Process prescriptions and pharmacy callbacks; update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
