Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or health sciences education required.
• Active Medical Assistant certification through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with registration, scheduling, vitals and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections and prescription requests.
• Perform onsite labs including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and provide excellent customer service.
