Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Internal Medicine Expert for an ongoing remote contract. The role focuses on designing clinical prompts, evaluating AI responses, and providing feedback to improve model behavior.

You will collaborate with the research team and participate in onboarding sessions to calibrate specialty content. We welcome attending physicians who are board-certified with an active license, residents in final year or fellows board-certified/board-eligible, and a commitment of 20+ hours per

• Fellows: Board-certified/board-eligible in primary specialty with current active, unrestricted medical license.

• Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios from Internal Medicine practice focusing on diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, risk stratification, and guideline concordance.
• Write "golden" reference responses at attending-level quality.
• Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
• Provide written feedback to the research team to improve model behavior.
• Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.
