Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Internal Medicine Expert for a remote, ongoing contract engagement. You will design clinically realistic prompts, write reference responses, and grade AI outputs to support medical AI research. The role is flexible, with 20+ hours per week commitment and weekly payments.

Ideal candidates are board-certified or board-eligible physicians with current licenses, in final year of residency or fellowship as appropriate, and ready to start rolling after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Attending physicians: Board certified with current, active, unrestricted medical license.
• Resident physicians: in final year of residency; recent graduates must be board-eligible.
• Fellows: Board-certified/board-eligible in primary specialty with current active, unrestricted medical license.

Responsibilities

• Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios from Internal Medicine practice. Focus on diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, risk stratification, and guideline concordance.
• Write "golden" reference responses at attending-level quality.
• Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
• Provide written feedback to the research team to improve model behavior.

Compensation: $130–$180/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Ongoing

Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios from Internal Medicine practice. Focus on diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, risk stratification, and guideline concordance.

• Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.

Qualifications Must-Have

Start Date
