Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Cardiology Expert to join as a contract remote contributor. You will design clinically realistic prompts from your Cardiology practice and create attending-level reference responses to guide AI training.

You will also grade AI outputs against evidence-based rubrics and provide feedback to improve model reasoning. Rolling onboarding and ongoing weekly interaction are expected.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physicians with active medical license required.
• Residents must be in final year or board-eligible.
• Fellows must be board-certified or board-eligible with active license.

Compensation: $180–$400/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Ongoing, reviewed monthly

Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios from your Cardiology practice, such as ACS management , arrhythmia evaluation , and heart failure optimization .
• Write "golden" reference responses at attending-level quality to guide AI model training .
• Grade AI-generated responses against structured rubrics to ensure alignment with evidence-based standards.
• Provide written feedback to the research team to improve model behavior and enhance AI reasoning .
• Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions to align with team objectives.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Attending physicians: Must be board certified with a current, active, unrestricted medical license.
• Resident physicians: Must be in the final year of residency or board-eligible if recently graduated.
• Fellows: Must be board-certified/board-eligible in primary specialty with a current, active, unrestricted medical license.

Start Date

• Rolling , after onboarding sign-off.

• Remote , 100% asynchronous.
