University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver is seeking a Clinician Educator in Internal Medicine (Open Rank) to practice and teach in a patient-centered medical home. The role includes patient care, resident and student instruction, and shared governance of clinic operations.

Academic promotion is tied to clinical, educational, and scholarly excellence. The position is onsite with opportunities for collaboration across faculty and potential for career advancement within the Division

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and Colorado medical license required at start date.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in internal medicine while teaching residents and students.
• Share night, weekend, and vacation coverage with group practice colleagues.
• Participate in decisions regarding clinic operations and practice management.
• Pursue academic promotion based on clinician-educator/scholar criteria and collaborate on research.
