Job summary

The Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks a clinician-educator to practice and teach general internal medicine in a patient-centered medical home.

The physician will provide care for patients at a University of Colorado Health Internal Medicine Clinic or CU Internal Medicine Clinic, with opportunities for precepting residents and students, and will participate in decisions regarding the practice operation and academic promotion.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Current State of Colorado Medical License by employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an internal medicine clinic setting.
• Precept residents and medical students.
• Share night, weekend and vacation coverage with the group practice.
• Participate in decisions regarding clinic operations and practice management.
• Pursue academic promotion based on clinician-educator performance.
