Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required or in progress.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, or in process of becoming eligible.
• Ability to obtain Texas Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose medical conditions by analyzing records, tests, and examinations.
• Prescribe or administer medications, therapy, and other medical care.
• Monitor patient progress and re-evaluate treatments as needed.
• Collect, record, and maintain patient information and history.
• Explain procedures and test results to patients.
• Prepare and deliver lectures on internal medicine for students and residents.

Education

MD/DO or Equivalent

ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency (completed or in progress)

Board Certified, Board Eligible, or in process of becoming board eligible in Internal Medicine

Texas Medical License (ability to obtain)
