Job summary

Harbor IT, LLC is seeking an experienced Internal IT Lead to build and guide our internal IT function. This hands-on leadership role combines people management with direct ticket handling to ensure smooth technology operations across the organization.

As the first IT leader, you will shape the team, refine processes, oversee infrastructure, and align IT with business goals, balancing strategic planning with daily operational delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience, including leadership or mentoring.
• Proven System Administrator experience with strong ownership.
• Expertise in Cisco networking and ConnectWise (RMM and ticketing).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the internal IT support team and set service standards.
• Define workflows, processes, and SLAs for IT operations.
• Directly handle tickets and escalate issues to resolution.
• Maintain and monitor Microsoft 365, endpoint protection, and internal tools.
• Create SOPs and internal documentation; participate in vendor evaluations.
