Job summary

Amgen seeks an Internal Consulting Senior Manager for HR Transformation to lead global HR modernization programs. You’ll partner with HR centers of excellence, technology teams, and business leaders to shape strategy and deliver multi-year initiatives that improve efficiency and the employee experience.

The role requires strong program management, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution, with experience across HR processes, change management, and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include advanced degrees in HR or related fields with significant HR project management experience.
• Preferred qualifications include 5+ years PM experience in multinational settings and familiarity with HR transformation.
• Experience with AI-first digital transformations and operating model design is a plus.
• Knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Orgvue, Visier.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex, high-impact HR transformation initiatives across a global enterprise.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Technology, and business leaders to define strategic direction.
• Design and deliver large-scale initiatives to modernize how HR operates for efficiency and better employee experience.
• Apply project management best practices (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to drive progress and accountability.
• Establish governance frameworks and manage budgets, vendors, and resources.
• Mentor project team members and embed KPIs, dashboards, and metrics with HR Analytics.
