Job summary

Horizon Farm Credit is seeking an IRC Analyst to join our Risk team. The role involves conducting internal control reviews, evaluating control design and effectiveness, and providing actionable recommendations to strengthen risk mitigation.

You may work at any Horizon Farm Credit branch with a hybrid schedule after six months, joining a team that values accuracy and collaboration. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/MIS/Business and have 3–5 years of risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Business Administration.
• CIA, CPA, or CISA certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years of risk management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of governance, SOX, COSO and CoBIT.

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance with internal control policies by examining records and documentation.
• Support audits and examinations conducted by Internal Audit and external partners.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and assess fraud risk.
• Prepare risk assessments and RACMs; update GRC systems.
• Develop and execute detailed test procedures using critical-thinking skills.
• Analyze transactions, documentation, and reporting for process effectiveness.
• Prepare findings and reports with remediation recommendations.
• Manage engagement operations to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
