Horizon Farm Credit is seeking an experienced Agribusiness Credit Analyst to join our team across multiple branches. The role focuses on underwriting loans, structuring credits, and delivering sound financial services to borrowers in a collaborative environment.

You will analyze financials, prepare loan narratives addressing the five Cs of credit, and mentor junior staff while handling relationships up to $10 million with guidance from approvers.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of agricultural lending.
• Extensive previous credit experience.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information—complete historical trends, pro-forma projections, debt repayment schedules, and credit templates.
• Prepare loan narratives summarizing financial analysis and the five Cs of credit, highlighting strengths and weaknesses.
• Underwrite loans (including complex credits) and provide guidance up to $10 million with input from approvers.
