Job summary

Service Credit Union is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to support the Enterprise Risk Management program. You will assist with risk assessments, data collection, and reporting, while documenting processes and maintaining records.

The role collaborates with business units to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and supports action plans and governance activities. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least three years in risk management; financial industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Risk Management.
• Financial industry experience preferred.
• Ability to identify, assess, and articulate operational, compliance, strategic, and control risks.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to connect business activities to risk impacts and control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, gather, and document current business processes via interviews and mapping.
• Support day-to-day ERM operations: risk assessments, RCSAs, data collection, reporting.
• Identify, document, and evaluate operational, compliance, strategic, and reputational risks.
• Communicate risk findings and recommendations to owners professionally.
• Assist with corrective action plans and risk mitigation tracking.
• Maintain accurate system records and data entry.
• Collect and maintain key risk indicator data and documentation.
• Prepare and maintain risk reports and program tracking activities.
• Develop and maintain departmental procedures and workflows.
• Support ongoing monitoring and remediation efforts; participate in process improvements.
