Horizon Farm Credit in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking an IRC Analyst to join our Risk team. Two positions are available; qualified candidates may work at any Horizon Farm Credit branch location.

This role offers a hybrid schedule after six months and focuses on strengthening internal controls and risk management practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Business Administration.
• CIA, CPA, or CISA preferred.
• Generally, 3–5 years of risk management experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance with internal control policies by examining records, reports, and documentation.
• Support audits and examinations by Internal Audit and external partners.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and assess fraud risk.
• Prepare RACM and update GRC systems with risks and controls.
• Develop and execute detailed test procedures with strong critical-thinking skills.
• Analyze transactions and reporting to assess adequacy and process effectiveness.
• Prepare findings, documentation, and remediation recommendations.
• Manage engagement operations to ensure timely, quality work within budget.
• Scope, plan, and document audit engagements.
