Job summary

DUAL North America seeks a temporary Internal Communications Specialist to support our team from September 2026 to January 2027. You will own media relations, draft press materials, and craft internal communications across executive updates, newsletters, and leadership messaging.

The role requires collaboration with HR and business leaders to align initiatives, drive engagement, and ensure brand consistency across platforms, including Viva Engage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate, public relations, or internal communications, ideally in a financial services/B2B context.
• Excellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns media relations and builds relationships with journalists; identifies proactive media opportunities.
• Drafts and distributes press releases; supports executive thought leadership content and interviews.
• Plans, writes and distributes internal communications, including executive updates, newsletters, and leadership messaging.
• Partners with HR and business leaders to align internal communications around key initiatives, onboarding and engagement.
• Drives adoption of internal communications platforms (e.g., Viva Engage).
• Supports crisis and issues communications as needed.
• Manages social media content planning, creation and distribution; monitors brand sentiment.
