Helion, an Everett, WA-based fusion power company, is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Lead. You will own storytelling, content across newsletters, town halls, and digital signage, and partner with Production/Manufacturing to keep technicians informed and connected.

This onsite role reports directly to the Internal Communications Lead at our Everett office. You will manage intranet content, optimize messaging across Slack and Confluence, and drive cross-site engagement with

Qualifications

• 5+ years in internal communications or employee engagement in a high-growth environment.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders and SMEs to plan communications.
• Exceptional writing and editing across formats and channels like email, Slack, Confluence and digital signage.
• Experience translating complex manufacturing or engineering topics into clear, compelling communications.
• Strong project ownership with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver recurring internal communications, including newsletter features, team presentations, digital signage, and leader announcements.
• Strategize and support execution of high-priority internal campaigns and events, including Town Halls.
• Partner with Production/Manufacturing to drive engagement and alignment across shifts.
• Manage intranet content / company wiki, ensuring it remains the single source of truth.
• Work with IS&T and People Ops to optimize user groups across channels to reach the right employees.
