Job summary

Helion in Everett, WA is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to drive internal and external communications during a period of rapid progress. You will manage high-visibility programs, including our weekly newsletter and monthly town halls, while supporting executive communications, media relations, and major company announcements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications or related field.
• Excellent writing and editing across executives, audiences, and channels.
• Experience managing recurring communications programs and complex projects with multiple contributors and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills to build practical systems.
• Strong judgment with sensitive information and escalation when needed.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute major internal communications programs, including Helion’s weekly newsletter and monthly town halls.
• Own the internal communications calendar and coordinate inbound requests across teams.
• Draft and edit communications for executives, adapting to different voices, audiences, and channels.
• Maintain Helion’s external speaking engagement calendar and coordinate speaker preparation.
• Partner with science, engineering, manufacturing, operations, policy, and People teams to identify stories and develop communications.
• Track communications performance and use feedback and results to improve programs.
