Helion seeks a Corporate Communications Specialist to help execute internal and external communications during a period of rapid progress. You will manage high-visibility programs, including our weekly company newsletter and monthly town halls, and support executive communications, speaking engagements, and major company announcements.

This onsite role based at our Everett, WA headquarters reports to the Director of Communications and requires an excellent writer who can adapt to different

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with demonstrated ability adapting content for executives, audiences, and channels.
• Experience independently managing recurring communications programs and complex projects with multiple contributors and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, building practical systems for coordination and execution.
• Strong judgment with sensitive or confidential information and ability to escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and execution of internal communications programs (newsletters, town halls).
• Own internal communications calendar and coordinate inbound requests for timing, audiences, channels, and priorities.
• Draft and edit communications for executives across channels and audiences.
• Maintain external speaking engagement calendar and coordinate speaker preparation.
• Collaborate with science, engineering, operations, policy, and People teams to develop accurate, compelling communications.
• Track performance and use feedback and results to improve programs.
