Kimley-Horn seeks an Internal Communications Specialist to support the Firmwide Communications team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on serving internal clients and driving employee engagement through clear, consistent messaging that reflects Kimley-Horn’s culture.

It is not a remote position. Responsibilities include partnering with clients to translate goals into actionable information, advising on culture-driven campaigns, and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of experience in internal communications or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding collaboration skills.
• Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with content management systems – i.e., SharePoint, Sociabble, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with partners at all levels of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal clients to translate goals into clear, actionable information on tools and resources.
• Advise on employee engagement and cultural campaigns aligned with client goals.
• Develop messaging for different audiences and keep projects moving.
• Build lasting relationships with teammates, clients, and partners by being responsive.
• Own multiple client projects, set expectations early, and meet deadlines.
• Ensure message consistency and tone across channels and clients.
