Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum division is seeking a communications professional to develop and execute integrated campaigns that raise awareness and engagement across stakeholders. You will work in a fast-paced environment partnering with Communications, Marketing, Social, and business teams to shape storytelling and assets.

This role requires 3+ years of writing and communications experience, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear messages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional communications experience supporting internal, external, corporate, or integrated communications initiatives.
• 3+ years of professional writing and content development experience, including creating articles, announcements, key messages, social media content, presentations, or other materials for varied audiences.
• Experience executing communications strategies, campaigns, or plans across multiple channels.
• Experience conducting research to support strategy, messaging, and content development.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own research to support strategy and content development.
• Social media plan execution (internal and external).
• Execution of campaign plans via multiple, integrated communication channels.
• Manage planning, tracking, and reporting for all communication channels.
• Proactive management of speaking engagements and events.
• Policy reviews (e.g., social media, external speaking engagements).
• Collaborate with key partners within Communications, Marketing, Social, and businesses.
• Ensure alignment to Marketing and Social calendars.
