Job summary

Optum is seeking an Internal Communications Consultant to support development and execution of integrated campaigns that raise awareness, engagement, and behavior change across key stakeholders. Located in MN, the role requires in-office work four days a week for Minneapolis area; travel up to 10% may be required.

You will partner with Communications, Marketing, Social and business teams to shape messaging, plan distribution, and optimize performance while adhering to policy and standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional communications experience supporting internal, external, corporate, or integrated initiatives.
• 3+ years of writing and content development for articles, announcements, messages, or social content for varied audiences.
• Experience executing communications strategies and campaigns across multiple channels.
• Experience gathering information to support strategy, messaging and content development.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own research to support strategy and content development.
• Execute campaign plans via multiple, integrated channels and manage calendars.
• Develop and maintain speaking engagements and events, including policy reviews.
• Deliver standards, processes, tools, and a current messaging archive.
• Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, Social, and business partners.
