Job summary

You will be a strong writer and editor, moving work from planning through delivery while collaborating with HR, Benefits, Recruiting and district teams.

The role focuses on bringing messages to life across channels, measuring impact with clear metrics and protecting accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field.
• Demonstrated copywriting and storytelling abilities with a portfolio required.
• Proficient in Associated Press Style.
• 0–3 years of employee communications experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong collaboration with HR, Recruiting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communication plans aligned with business priorities.
• Write and edit content for internal channels like KiewitNetwork and Kieways.
• Collaborate with leaders across business units to tailor messages.
• Manage tools and tech like SharePoint and WordPress for content governance.
• Measure impact using key metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Support time-sensitive communications and confidentiality.
