Job summary

GoCardless Ltd is seeking an experienced internal communications lead to drive day-to-day planning, output, and stakeholder engagement across Mollie and GoCardless. You will shape integration messaging, own Town Hall sessions, and run cross-channel communications to keep colleagues aligned and informed.

You will also design plans for engagement surveys and transformations, acting as a trusted adviser and hands-on operator in a small team that values clear, accessible writing and concrete

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy internal communications team or function.
• Ability to originate and execute strategic internal communications plans; tactically deliver them; and measure results.
• Experience leading internal comms aligned to transformations, with M&A or integration experience a plus.
• Confidently build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional writing ability; translate complexity into clear, engaging content.
• Omnichannel mindset across emails, Slack, Zoom, intranet and other channels; keen on new tech like AI.
• Hands-on approach in a small team, able to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Ideally experience handling logistics for large company events.

Responsibilities

• Help lead day-to-day planning and output of the Internal Comms team; maintain momentum with regular communications.
• Develop plans to support integration of Mollie and GoCardless, explaining changes and impact to colleagues.
• Own Town Hall sessions: shape agendas, brief leaders, produce content, run sessions and share follow-ups.
• Devise and execute comms plans for surveys, transformation, or product launches with measurable outcomes.
• Serve as trusted adviser to stakeholders on communications goals.
• Co-manage intranet, Slack and email channels and evolve how these channels service both organisations.
• Host listening sessions across locations, including Mollie colleagues, to identify opportunities for impact.
