Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, marketing, communications or a related field is required.
• Five years of directly related experience is required.
• Experience in developing, executing and measuring multi-dimensional strategic marketing initiatives is required.
• Experience with emerging marketing tools (e.g. social media and CRM) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage strategic communications plans to support the hospital and strengthen the Duke Health brand and image.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications, Human Resources, and other colleagues to ensure consistent messaging.
• Lead internal communications strategy to promote transparency, morale, and engagement across departments.
• Support senior leadership on strategic initiatives and translate marketing practices into operational tactics.
• Partner with hospital and system leaders to develop community outreach communications strategies.
• Serve as communications lead during crisis situations and coordinate with DUHS leadership.
