Job summary

TTEC is hiring a Licensed Insurance Agent to help customers understand coverages, recommend suitable products, and provide full lifecycle support from inquiry to closing. This fully remote role is available to residents in Texas, with licensing training provided.

You'll gain a start at $21 per hour after licensing, plus potential performance bonuses. A strong customer service mindset, integrity, and reliable internet are essential to success in this role at TTEC.

Qualifications

• Six months sales experience preferred or six months tenure within TTEC.
• High-speed internet with >25 Mbps.
• Ability to pass state licensing exam and maintain HIPAA privacy.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; computer literacy.
• Experience with online licensing portals and basic software tools.

Most associate role transfers between programs are managed locally by Talent Acquisition. TTEC prioritizes current associates for new programs, and it’s not required for you to re-apply unless instructed by your Human Capital partner to do so. These guidelines do apply when you actively apply to any other roles internally.

• GCA level no more than 2 levels above current role

Once you become a Licensed Insurance Agent, on a typical day, you’ll

• Assist individuals in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products, services, and best solutions to meet their personal needs
• Provide full lifecycle customer service and sales where you could accept inbound or might be calling out to provide follow up
• Respond to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening and select the best solution in an efficient manner
• Identify additional needs customers may have and help them to upgrade products or services

What You Bring to the Role

• Aptitude, self-discipline and tenacity to learn about what it takes to become a licensed insurance associate including passing the state licensing exam
• High speed internet (>25 mbps)
• Minimum six (6) months sales experience preferred or minimum 6 months tenure within TTEC
• Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy (just as you would expect if it were your private information being shared)
• Strong customer service orientation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer experience
