Job summary

Kyocera International, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the internal audit team. This onsite role will support production and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will conduct SOX testing, participate in audits of domestic and international operations, and work with the Audit Manager to strengthen controls and IT environment. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of internal and/or external audit experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and computer skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• SOX knowledge and regulatory requirements experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan Audits. This duty is performed irregularly, about 20% of the time.
• Perform Test procedures for Audit and SOX. This duty is performed daily, about 70% of the time.
• Mentor Associate Auditors. This duty is performed irregularly, about 5% of the time.
• Draft Audit Reports and Finalize. This duty is performed irregularly, about 5% of the time.
