Fastenal Company seeks an Internal Auditor to join the team. The role is full-time with a flexible location able to office from any USA branch except CA, WA and OR. Onboarding and performance goals may lead to a flexible schedule after the initial period.

You will document processes, assist with internal controls, and perform audit tests while analyzing financial and operational data. Travel may be required and the position reports to the Internal Audit Manager.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older and pursuing/holding an Accounting or related degree or have relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Description

Internal Auditor

Position location is flexible and may office from any branch in the USA except CA, WA and OR

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of audit and analytical functions. This position will report to the Internal Audit Manager. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Documenting processes and procedures of various Fastenal Company finance departments
• Assisting with internal control design, documentation, and implementation
• Performing specific audit test plans to ensure compliance with relevant company accounting requirements and standards
• Performing analytical analyses of financial and operational data
• Investigating reported or suspected unethical activity
• Completing special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned, including assisting other Fastenal Company finance departments

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess or are working towards a degree in Accounting or related Business field OR have relevant work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $42,000 - 52,500. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
