Selective Insurance Company of America is offering an Ignite Internship in Internal Audit at our Short Hills, NJ corporate office for Summer 2027. You will work closely with the Internal Audit team, assisting in evaluating controls and testing processes while gaining hands-on experience within our Legal Department.

Ideal candidates are current college students pursuing Finance or related fields, with a willingness to learn about the insurance industry.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student majoring in Finance or a related field.
• Interested in learning about the insurance industry.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred.
• College credit can be earned depending on your institution’s requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit procedures, including gathering documentation and testing controls.
• Review processes and control activities to identify weaknesses and document findings.
• Prepare workpapers and summaries of audit results for stakeholders.
