Job summary

Selective Insurance is offering an Ignite Internship in Short Hills, NJ for summer 2027. The 11-week, full-time program provides hands-on budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience within the corporate Finance Department.

As a hybrid position, candidates must be within commuting distance of Short Hills and be a current college student majoring in Finance. Prior experience with Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is preferred, with potential college credit depending on requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student majoring in Finance or a related field.
• Interest in the insurance industry and analytical skills.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the budgeting process and assist with financial analyses.
• Support treasury and financial reporting activities during the internship.
• Gain exposure to investments, capital management and banking relationships.
