Job summary

Avivo in Minneapolis is offering a Volunteer Services Internship focused on supporting Adopt-A-Family and In-Kind Donations. You will assist with client and donor registration, coordinate gift matching, and help ensure a respectful, client-centered donation process.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited educational program.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work, volunteer management, nonprofit management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally as needed.

As the Volunteer Services Intern, you will play an important role in supporting two highly visible and meaningful programs: Adopt-A-Family and In-Kind Donations. What You'll Do
