Job summary

Ziegler Inc. invites students enrolled in diesel, heavy equipment mechanics or agricultural equipment programs to join our internship program. You will diagnose and repair equipment in a shop, learning from senior technicians.

Starting wage is $21.00 per hour. This safety-sensitive role includes a pre-employment drug test, with opportunities for mentorship, education assistance and advancement within Ziegler.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades and receive positive instructor recommendations.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines, construction or agriculture equipment in a shop environment.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure value for work performed.
