Job summary

Ziegler Inc. offers an internship program for aspiring technicians in the diesel, heavy equipment and agriculture sectors. You will learn by hands-on repair, work with senior technicians, and receive mentorship and safety training in a shop environment.

The program emphasizes scholarship opportunities, paid internships, and development of real-world mechanical skills while maintaining a safe, clean workspace and a team‑oriented attitude. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2-year program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study
• Demonstrates positive attitude and willingness to work as a team member
• Possesses own mechanic tool set and keeps workspace safe and organized

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines, construction or agriculture equipment in a shop environment
• Learn to respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure value for work performed
• Work with senior technicians to diagnose and repair equipment and gain hands-on experience
