Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking motivated Engineering Interns for a summer program in Houston to gain hands-on exposure to assets in our energy portfolio, including gathering, processing, treating, transmission, storing, and export of natural gas and liquids.

You will work under supervision across locations to learn process simulation, gas and fluid flow measurements, and system modeling. The internship emphasizes learning, independence, and teamwork, with opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program majoring engineering disciplines include Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical at a minimum completion of sophomore level engineering courses.
• General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.

Responsibilities

• Get familiar with assets in energy portfolio and gain experience in gathering, processing, treating, transmission storing, and export of natural gas and/or liquids.
• Handle process simulation and system modeling, gas and fluid flow measurements, pipe and vessel sizing, equipment functions, maintenance requirements, and day-to-day field operations of pipelines, storage, and terminals.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Engineering Interns for our summer programto join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The mainobjective for the intern is to become familiar with the assets in our energy portfolio,gaining experience in gathering, processing, treating, transmission storing, and export of natural gas and/or liquids.
• Responsibilities will vary with location but may include process simulation and system modeling, gas and fluid flowmeasurements, pipe and vessel sizing calculations, equipment functions, andmaintenance requirements, and the day to day field operations of pipeline, storage, and terminalsystems.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
