Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks a motivated intern for its summer program to gain hands-on experience across our energy portfolio. You will learn about gas and liquids gathering, processing, and export while supporting field operations and analytical tasks.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates majoring in business with a strong GPA, curiosity, and a willingness to travel. Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to work independently are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the assets in Energy Transfer's energy portfolio, gaining experience in gas/liquid gathering, processing, treating, transmission, storage and export.
• Support process simulation, system modeling, gas/fluids flow measurements, pipe/vessel sizing calculations, and maintenance planning for pipeline, storage and terminal systems.

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Intern for our summer program to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with the assets in our energy portfolio, gaining experience in gathering, processing, treating, transmission storing, and export of natural gas and/or liquids.
• Responsibilities will vary with location but may include process simulation and system modeling, gas and fluid flow measurements, pipe and vessel sizing calculations, equipment functions, and maintenance requirements, and the day to day field operations of pipeline, storage, and terminal systems.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program majoring in business
• General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
• Above average GPA

Preferred qualifications:

• Proficiency with MS Office
• Must possess a strong willingness to learn
• Willing to travel
• Excellent attention to details.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
