Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic Summer 2027 Intern - Supply Chain based in Pittsburgh, PA. This paid internship offers real-world projects, mentorship, and the chance to work with a global leader in urban transit.

You will contribute to cost control, budgeting concepts, logistics, and reporting while gaining hands-on experience with SAP, Excel, and Power BI. May 2027–August 2027 start window.

Qualifications

• Current student in a 4-year university with a major in Supply Chain, IT, Operations, or Project Management.
• Graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
• Paid internship and mentorship are provided.

Responsabilités

Accountabilities

• Cost controlling and Budgeting concepts/ Basic
• Logistics and Warehouse management concepts
• Organization and Company Process concepts
• Reporting
• IT Tools

Required skills/experience

• 0-3 years of experience in Supply Chain
• Software proficiency in SAP and Excel
• Power BI (basic dashboard use and interpretation for KPI/inventory reporting)
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Ability to use Documentation Management
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to communicate complex technical information
• Strong relevant technical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge

• Excel data analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) beyond basic use
• Technical/Technology

Education

Current student at a 4-year university with a major of Supply Chain, IT, Operations, or Project Management with a graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.

Languages

Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
