Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Software Development Intern to join our ServiceNow Development Team in Durham, NC, with a hybrid work schedule. The role focuses on building and integrating the ITSM module on the ServiceNow platform while gaining real-world experience in healthcare technology.

You’ll work 40 hours a week during a 12-week paid internship, May 24, 2027–August 13, 2027, with mentoring from senior engineers and exposure to enterprise-wide projects and ERG programs.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Software Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in software development from requirements gathering to final product on the ServiceNow ITSM Module and Platform Integrations

The ServiceNow development team supports the overall ServiceNow platform, development, business requirements, security, CMDB and overall health and maintenance of the platform which has a user base of 65,000 users and 3,800 IT Professionals for IT Service Management

Internship Details:

• Duration: 12 weeks, full-time

• Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future
