Labcorp in Burlington, NC is seeking a Project Management Intern to join the Finance Team on a 11-week paid internship with a hybrid schedule.

You will support process improvement, project planning and documentation while gaining exposure to Labcorp’s global business and leadership. Ideal candidates are rising juniors/seniors in related degree programs; program runs June 1, 2027 – August 13, 2027; relocation assistance available.

Labcorp is seeking a Project Management Intern to join our Finance Team located in Burlington, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Work Schedule

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

• Support an internal process improvement project focused on improving efficiency and existing workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• Working towards a degree in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.

About The Team

The Finance Team supports initiatives focused on improving internal processes, workflows, and operational efficiency. As a member of the team, the intern will gain hands-on experience supporting an internal process improvement project while learning how project management principles and practices are applied within a global healthcare organization.

The intern will have the opportunity to work with team members and stakeholders to evaluate existing workflows, support project activities, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
• Dates of Internship: June 1, 2027 - August 13, 2027
• Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
