Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform molecular biology assays for detecting genetic variants
  • Execute experiments for Next Generation Sequencing workflows
  • Maintain detailed and organized experiment write-ups
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program or graduate program in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or Biotechnology

About the Team

The San Francisco Research & Development team enables the development of new tests and new launches for germline genetic testing product lines. This role is a laboratory position to develop and optimize molecular biology assays focusing on accuracy, reproducibility, and scalability.

Internship Details

Duration: 11 weeks, full‑time Dates of Internship: June 1, 2027 – August 13, 2027 Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Pay Range

$17.75 – $20.00/hr All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
