Job summary

Labcorp in San Diego, CA, offers a Lab Intern position with a Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm schedule and a 40-hour work week. The 11-week paid internship runs June 1–August 13, 2027, for rising juniors/seniors pursuing related degrees. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $22 per hour.

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations.
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation.
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Support approved laboratory projects.
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures.

Lab Intern Position

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our team located in San Diego, CA.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm / 40hrs per week

Job Responsibilities

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
• Dates of Internship: June 1st – August 13th, 2027
• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Pay Range

$17.75-22/hr All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
