FIS is seeking a 2027 University Summer Intern to join the People Office, contributing to talent acquisition, learning, and employee relations. You will work on teamwork, mentoring, and development projects in a paid full-time internship from May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

This role offers exposure to HR operations, data analysis, and process improvements within a collaborative fintech environment in Jacksonville, FL. Rising seniors and those pursuing a related bachelor’s degree will fit well.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in relevant field (HR, business, data science, communications, MIS).
  • Rising Senior (graduating Dec 2027 – May 2028).
  • Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools and applying them to improve productivity.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day People Office programs and processes across Talent Acquisition, learning, employee relations, compensation, benefits, or HR operations.
  • Assist with employee inquiries, documentation, reporting, and policy administration while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Analyze workforce and people data to identify trends, prepare reports, and support business decisions.
  • Partner with HR teams, managers, and colleagues to support talent, onboarding, development, engagement, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Contribute to process improvement to enhance employee experience, operations, and policy compliance.

Join the 2027 FIS University Summer Internship Program!

As a 2027 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on May 31, 2027. and conclude on August 6, 2027.

About the Team

Join the People Office team, which helps attract, develop, engage, and support the talent that drives FIS's success. The People Office consists of Centers of Expertise (COEs), HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, People Operations, and Workforce Planning teams that work together to deliver impactful people strategies and employee experiences. Team members partner with leaders and colleagues across the organization to support workforce planning, talent development, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and business growth.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Support day-to-day People Office programs and processes across areas such as talent acquisition, learning, employee relations, compensation, benefits, or HR operations.

What You Bring
  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in relevant field of study including human resources management, business, data science, communications, or management information systems
  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2027 through May 2028)
  • Basic proficiency with AI-enabled tools and the ability to apply them effectivey to enhance productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
