Job summary

IBM's Oracle Cloud Practice in Dallas invites motivated students to join a 10-week internship from May to July 2027. You will gain hands-on experience helping clients modernize business processes with cloud solutions while experiencing IBM's culture of coaching and mentorship.

You'll work on client projects, build a compelling portfolio, and explore enterprise cloud applications, data integrations, and cloud migration activities, with opportunities to progress toward the Associates program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a university degree with strong academic record.
• Majors with business, finance, accounting, SCM, or related fields preferred.
• Experience in client-facing roles, internships, or clubs; good process orientation and documentation.

Responsibilities

Your Role And Responsibilities

Work Experiences You Could Be Exposed To

• Market Dynamics: Immersing yourself in primary research and collaborate with dynamic teams assisting clients in navigating market trends and refining competitive strategies.
• Operational Excellence: Support operational improvement by designing models for a seamless client experience, contributing to heightened efficiency and effectiveness in operational processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Support workshops, meetings, and interviews to understand and document requirements collaborating with diverse teams to capture and synthesizing essential information.
• Project Exposure: Gain hands on experience shadowing product teams and enterprise-wide data integrations. Contribute to data analytics assessments and actively participate in cloud migration and system implementations across major platforms.

The primary internship program dates are May to July 2027 (10 weeks).

Associate's Degree/College Diploma

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Currently pursuing a university degree with a track-record of academic success (Preferred majors: Business/Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering,Human Resources).
• Client‑facing internships, consulting clubs, strong process orientation, and documentation skills.
• Exposure to enterprise software or business processes; experience with Oracle Cloud or other packaged applications is a plus.
• Coursework, capstones, part‑time jobs, or internships related to business processes in Finance (ERP), HR (HCM), Supply Chain (SCM), or Customer Experience (CX)
• Strong interpersonal skills that enhance collaboration and relationship building, while also managing dynamic workloads in an agile environment.
• Have initiative and passion to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills while embracing a growth mindset to assimilate diverse viewpoints
• Demonstrate leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively through active listening; while also be willing to adapt and have readiness to take ownership of tasks and challenges.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Can understand clients' needs and challenges, applying a creative and logical approach to identify solutions.
• Demonstrate foundational quantitative analysis skills and ability to develop data driven recommendations.
• Exposure to one of the following programming technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL) is a plus.
• Leverages business knowledge to drive solutions for clients and their management.
