Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering department by conducting research and preparing technical documentation.
• Organize reports and maintain engineering records with high attention to detail.
• Develop and review system diagrams to ensure vessel specifications and regulatory compliance.
• Perform basic engineering calculations for system performance and regulatory compliance.

This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Ocean Engineering who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering department by conducting research and preparing technical documentation.
• Perform general office tasks with high attention to detail, including organizing reports and maintaining engineering records.
• Develop and review system diagrams to ensure compliance with vessel specifications and regulatory standards.
• Conduct basic engineering calculations for system performance and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other personnel to support various projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Ocean Engineering
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software is a plus.
