Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a motivated Project Engineering Intern for a full-time, on-site summer internship.

Open to juniors and seniors pursuing Mechanical, Electrical, or Naval Architecture degrees, this role provides hands-on experience in engineering disciplines at our Pascagoula facility. You will work closely with Project Engineers, assist with tracking engineering scope, schedule, and budget, and visit vessels under construction.

Qualifications

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
• Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong communication, initiative, and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers with visits to vessels under construction and gather insight into engineering requirements.
• Support program tracking for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Occasional off-site vessel visits; exposure to PPE and on-site safety practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to learn light-duty project engineering tasks.
