Job summary

Wieland in Montpelier, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support design, development and technical staff. You will gain hands-on experience in data gathering, troubleshooting and documentation, working closely with engineering, maintenance and production teams on-site.

This internship focuses on building engineering capability, with typical schedule 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and pay of $20-$22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Student enrolled, Sophomore level or above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• AutoCAD (Preferred).
• Eligible to work in US (no Sponsorships available).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with engineering, maintenance and contractors to complete projects.
• Assist engineering, maintenance or operations in gathering data, analyzing and drawing engineering conclusions.
• Assist in gathering information on standardization, new technologies and cost reduction ideas for capital expenditure requests.
• Compile technical documentation for equipment manuals, troubleshooting guides and maintenance job plans.
• All other duties as assigned.

Wieland is hiring a Electircal Engineer Intern. The Electrical Engineer Intern will be responsible for developing engineering capability in design, development, product knowledge, problem solving and technical support while providing assistance to staff engineering, production and maintenance personnel. This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $20-$22 per hour

Schedule: 8am - 4pm Mon-Fri

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
