Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Montpelier, OH is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern to develop engineering capabilities and support staff across design, development, and maintenance.

This on-site role offers hands-on experience in data gathering, troubleshooting, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineering student (sophomore or higher) familiar with Microsoft Office, good written and verbal communication, and preferably AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Student, Sophomore level or above
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Other Basic Computer Skills
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• AutoCAD (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with engineering, maintenance and contractors to complete projects
• Assist engineering, maintenance or operations in gathering data, analyzing and drawing engineering conclusions
• Assist in gathering information on standardization, new technologies and cost reduction ideas for capital expenditure requests
• Compile technical documentation for equipment manuals, troubleshooting guides and maintenance job plans
• All other duties as assigned

Wieland is hiring a Electircal Engineer Intern. The Electrical Engineer Intern will be responsible for developing engineering capability in design, development, product knowledge, problem solving and technical support while providing assistance to staff engineering, production and maintenance personnel.This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $20-$22 per hour

Schedule: 8am - 4pm Mon-Fri

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
